How the Program Works

•  Associates drive Internet traffic to McGrathInfoSolution.com store page and thus help promote the MIS specification.
•  Associates can earn 33% in referral fees (excluding taxes, transaction fees...) on all qualifying revenue made through their Associates code.
•  NEW: Associates can give 10% off to their clients on all qualifying revenue made. (lower referral fee in return)
•  Associates must offer a link to our site for the latest official version of our products .
•  We send quarterly or monthly payments (depending on the amount) to Associates via their PayPal account (required).

How to become an Associate

It's easy to become a McGrathInfoSolution.com Associate. To process your application, we'll first need:

•  An e-mail address you want to use for your account. The address you choose will be the main one listed against your Associates account. We will be sending important e-mails here, so please use an e-mail address that you check regularly.
•  Your website URL and a short description of the website.
•  You will need a verified PayPal account.
•  And you must read the Associates Program Agreement. Contacting us to be in the Associate Program means that you have read and agreed with the agreement

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it cost anything to become an Associate?

No, there are no fees of any kind for applying to and participating in the McGrathInfoSolution.com Associates Program. There is no charge to apply, and there is no minimum referral requirement or quota you must reach before earning referral fees with our program. You start earning right away on the first referral.  We will, however, reconsider your status at the end of each year based on your total amount of referrals.

Example: Once a year, you have a big jump in referral for a fundraising and have a low volume for the rest of the year. We will be happy to keep you in this case.

Example: We may terminate an Associate who had a very low volume for the whole year (a few sales each quarter).

Can I participate if I live outside Canada? Does my Web site qualify?

Yes, you may participate in the Associates Program if you live outside Canada. We will accept Associates from all over the world and are working hard to add even more. All you need to join is a Web site that does not violate intellectual property rights, violence, illegal activities, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.  The usage of the MIS specification for a video file is suggested to encourage your clients (see the MIS license if you use it in commercial site) to buy our products.

Yes, we encourage non-profits to join our program.  It is another source of earnings like clothes, foods or DVDs.

A school or fan film could include a .MIS (description, credit, goofs ...) with their video and use the money that they earned to pay for cost of the project.

You have a free weekly video podcast that you distribute with a .MIS. You could ask for donation or offer our products as way to pay for the cost of the site.

You could have a public announcement video file distributed with a .MIS on many sites that promotes your cause.  The client will then use MIS Info Video to view information about you with the .MIS and see the links to your site. MIS Info Video will serve as a launch pad with your clients favorite video player. 

Example: You have 15 000 members and 10% decided to encouraged you by buying one of ours products (e.g. MIS Info Video), you could make as much as $6 000 (1500 x  $4(33%) ) to pay for the cost of the extra bandwidth or for a more powerful servers. You both win! You get money for your site (and maybe a little more) and they have a product in return. Just imagine if you have 15%, 20%....

In all cases, the .MIS is optional.

My site is private and may require registration (login), can I still qualify?

Yes, we view private sites the same way has public sites, in that most of time, the site is used has a rendezvous point for a limited number of members to share news, experiences via the forums or chats sessions and/or files to help each others out. We do understand that, in most cases, the site owner love a particular subject and do it that way to control the cost.

Unless your have a commercial site, we suggest to be transparent with you're members on the cost of operating the site and all the sources of revenue that you have earned. The members may offer to help you more with time, donations and by buying our software in return to keep your site alive.

The public pages must not violate intellectual property rights, violence, illegal activities, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.  We still reserved the right to accept or not your application. The name of the website will be one of the factor but a PayPal account will be a bigger factor. A PayPal account will also mean that you want the site to stay alive for a long time and that you already follow their rules. If you are an acceptable site for PayPal, you are an acceptable site for us!

Example: You have, in the private section, a video file of the last fishing trip with some of the club members. The earnings could pay for the extra bandwidth/space.

In all cases, the .MIS is optional.

I have more than one Web site. Can I link to McGrathInfoSolution.com from each site?

Yes, you may participate in the Associates Program through multiple Web sites. If you want to track the performance of each Web site separately, just ask for another code with another email or use the current one.

How does McGrathInfoSolution.com track orders coming from my Web site?

An Associates code is assigned when you sign up. When your client buy a product from our store, your Associates code will be provided from the link from your site. If the client does change the code, it will be too late. Yes, we know, this method is not the best user-friendly way but it allows us to pass the saving directly to you.

Can I collect customers' orders myself, and then send you the details?

No, you must link from your site to our site. Customers must enter their own information.

Do I have to support the products?

No, we will do it. You serve only as an intermediary for the sell.

Do I have to declare my referral fees?

It's your responsibility and up to you and your local rules/laws. 

If I become an affiliate can I get a free copy of your software?

No, participating in our affiliate program doesn't entitle you to a free copy of our products.

What happen if my link (URL) to download the product points (leech) to McGrathInfoSolution.com?

You will loose all referral fees and will be terminated from the program.

Can I use spam (unsolicited e-mail)to promote this affiliate program?

No, sending unsolicited e-mail is a nuisance to the recipient and a serious violation of our Terms and Conditions, and will result in your account being terminated. Do not send e-mail to people you do not personally know, or who have not specifically opted-in to receiving messages from you.
